The Immigrant Employment Council of BC has partnered with Microsoft Canada.
They are offering free online and self-paced training for these 10 in-demand jobs:
Software developer
Sales representative
Project manager
IT administrator
Customer service specialist
Digital marketer
IT support/Helpdesk
Data analyst
Financial analyst
Graphic designer
If you are interested in free training for one of these 10 jobs, you can register through one of the links below. Then, you will be directed to courses on LinkedIn Learning and Microsoft Learn to gain the skills for the job. If you complete training, you will get a certificate of completion. Microsoft is also offering an opportunity to go deeper on technical skills with Microsoft Learn modules for these 3 jobs:
data analyst, IT Administrator, or software developer.
STudents gain skills on widely used technologies and after completing the exam, they receive a recognized Microsoft Certification. Certification exams normally cost $100 USD or more, but they are being offered at a discounted rate of $15 (USD). The chance to register for this free training and the discounted certification exam pricing is available until December 31,
